You come in for a typical physical examination
bringing with you feelings of health and certainty
or perhaps concern and questions.  
This is Adult Medicine, so all of us have medical histories. 

It is our job to explore and develop those histories and,
with your help, to get a three dimensional understanding
of whom you are and what you might need from us.

This sometimes takes more than one person or
more than one visit to assure that we have a thorough
understanding of your primary health indicators.

We are listeners first.  Whatever you have to say is taken in strictest confidence and heard with respect for your privacy.  You will help us discover how we might help you.  If you have concerns, share them with us.  But, we will talk more about this later.

We are here to be your staff.  We are your doctors, your nurses and your very experienced professional specialists.  Let us be part of your trusted few.  We will remember you best if we remember you three dimensionally and can treat you as an important and singular individual.  To get a list of general indicators, you will be weighed, your pulse and blood pressure taken, your respiration, temperature and how well you move noted.

If this is your first time with us, we will ask for a copy of your records from your previous physicians. Questions about diet, smoking and exercise are often discussed as well as persistent problems you may have and how they are being treated.  The things you tell us are all important to know, so please share.
